AS A NOTARY PUBLIC
Fees can be negotiated in advance according to circumstances applying, but as a rough guide average fees charged are as follows:

Single document notarisations. Up to £30 per document
Multiple documents. Up to £30 for the first
Thereafter £20 each document
Bundle preparation. Between £20 and £35
Submission for legalisation. £10
Photo certification. £15 for the first document Thereafter by arrangement
Domiciliary attendances. By arrangement

AS ARBITRATOR
1. Acceptance fee £1000 to be set off against fees incurred in the arbitration, such fee to be paid by the parties in equal shares on formal acceptance of appointment.

2. Work to be charged on the following basis:  
On issues not exceeding £25,000
£100 per hour
On issues between £25,000 and £100,000
£175 per hour
On issues between £100,000 and £500,000
£200 per hour
On issues between £500,000 and £1M
£250 per hour
On issues of £1m plus to be negotiated.  

3. All travel and other expenses to be paid by the parties and the arbitrator reserves the right to charge additional secretarial expenses should this become necessary.

4. No cancellation fee will be charged unless a period in excess of one day is reserved.

5. The appointment as arbitrator will not prevent Mr. O’Driscoll from acting for the parties in other matters unless there is a direct conflict of interest.

6. In accordance with the Arbitration Act 1996 the parties are jointly and severally responsible of the arbitrator’s fees.


AS MEDIATOR
Mediation fees are negotiable and will depend on the nature of the dispute, whether or not it is a money dispute, and, to a certain extent on the nature of the relationship between the parties. As a rough guide, the hourly rate can vary between £150 and £225 per hour. In appropriate cases, a fixed fee can be agreed.
